Getting into a
long term career in Computer Aided Drafting requires skill and creativity;
moreover, CAD is a computer based technology that keeps on changing
continuously to enhance productivity in the architecture profession.
Therefore, a successful drafting professional will have the excellent ability
to manipulate all the Auto-CAD commands including but not limited to that I
support of. In a fast paced Auto-CAD environment, using the MODIFY command to
change a previously completed project of another architect to benefit a
current project, however, does not contitute any
violation of "intellectual
property" of anyone. "The
use of CAD-prepared drawings presents great value and opportunities in the
documentation of construction projects. However, the widespread use of
computer-aided drafting in the preparation of construction documents has
created new challenges for owners, design professionals, and contractors.
Members of a project team, each bring different
viewpoints, concerns, and issues regarding drawing usage"... |
